Nook

Happy holidays to all the RP students! The UT3 dates are drawing near and everybody must be rushing all the revisions. Well, my boy seems to be lepaking everyday. Maybe UT3 not a big deal to him. Oh well.

Went Nook today with Love. Nook is the first DIY pancake house in Singapore. You all should go try. We had a lot of fun today.

This is how the menu cover looks like.

Basically there are 5 flavors. Original, Asian Pandan, Dark Choclate, Funky Banana and Strawberry Farm.

Of course, there will be a pan for us to cook the mother fucking pancakes.

That's how it looks like in the shop. The walls have the same picture as the menu cover and the design in the shop is simple and nice.

At the right side, the colourful bottles are the batter for the pancakes. The green one is the Asian Pandan, the white one is the original one and the pink one, obviously, is the Strawberry Farm.
We can order 5 toppings. So we ordered peanut butter, oreo chunks, strawberries, kit kat and cream cheese. We have 3 small cups of maple syrup and 2 cups of butter chunks.

The caution signs are cute LOL. Who the fuck will put their kids on the pan.

Ya, Jacob did that. -_-

We ordered hot tea as it was drizzling outside. We ordered Earl Grey Lavender. You can try when you're having pancakes there. Its nice. $3.90 for a cup, $6 for a pot.

Actually we didn't finish the batter cause we were too full so we played with it. Didn't take the pictures of those rubbish we drew on the pan but I had lots of fun. Nook is located at quite a deserted place. You can take 61.. You will have to alight at opposite Rainbow Garden, which is 7 stops away from the Bukit Batok interchange. Then you will see the Vet Practice Pte. Then you will have to walk up the slope and turn right. Continue walking until you see Woody Petshop, Nook is beside the pet shop. We were kinda lost but in the end we found our way there so yup. Just remember to bring umbrella, in case it rains. LOL. Okay CIAO!

Busy month

Happy Chinese New Year everybody! I hope everybody out there that is celebrating this prosperous day have a great year ahead and I hope everybody collect many many ang baos with loads of money in it. ^^

Went Ma Maison for some appetizers and went Ritz for apple strudels. The Ritz is behind Bugis Junction. You will have to cross the road and the shop is beside Top One. Its very delicious. Must try.

So today is day 1 of the new lunar year. I literally spent my whole morning alone at home. When I woke up, my parents have already gone out and surprisingly, my brother is out too. Went Shazalind's house to bai nian on the first day. I ate a lot of snacks. Way too much. I think. And we gambled afterwards. It was quite boring there cause all we can do is watch tv, gamble, talk and eat... Went to town and meet my boy around 5pm. Eat some cake and drank some tea to quench our thirst at Wheelock's Coffee Club. I ordered Macadamia moments and Ice Passion Lychee tea if I'm not wrong. He wanted New York Cheesecake but unfortunately its all sold out. Walked over to Cineleisure after that to catch 'Ah Boys To Men 2' together with Shazalind and her......... Date. LOL. It was not as hilarious as part one but I still do recommend everybody to go catch it in the cinemas. Guys out there who doesn't want to serve NS should watch it. That can give you some motivation. But if end of the day you still don't wanna go NS, its your problem already. So as I was saying, it is an inspiring movie and AIYA JUST GO CATCH IT LAH.

Afterwards, we went to grab our late dinner at an Italian restaurant at 313 Somerset called 'Trattoria Cucina Italian'. We ordered Pizza Vanni, Seafood Soup and Spaghetti Aglio e Olio. The pizza was not bad. It consist of some ham and tomatoes with cheese. The spaghetti was not up to my standard. It was too spicy and too bland. Not recommended. Or maybe its just that spaghetti that taste awful. The seafood soup is too salty for me but the seafood is fresh. Worth trying. Overall, not recommended because its too expensive and its not up to my standard. In my perspective though. But no harm trying new food.

I shall upload some photos too.

Went Bugis with my girls:

On our way to Holland Village:

Insecurities

I thought I can be strong enough but no matter how firm I stand, the strongest wall I built will always fall. Sometimes it gets out of hand and get real messy. Insecurity is the major problem I'm facing. Always. I don't know how to solve this problem and it makes people around me real upset. It consist a bit of trust issues, a bit of privacy issues and more other minor issues that makes it a big problem. I'm the type of girl that doesn't have much confidence. Little small matters do affect me greatly and I think that sucks. I feel that no matter what I do, no matter how hard I tried, I will always lose out. At the end of the day, I'm still weak. I always look at the negative side and how I look at small matters are just too... Everytime I tell myself that I'm working on it I'm working on it, it doesn't seem to get better. The feeling is indescribable. Its a mixture of disappointment and anger.. I don't know. I just can't describe how I feel. Its okay cause I know I will get stronger after every fall. I can do it.
